PCCD Approved Act 67 School Security Personnel Training- September 1-4, 2026, 8AM-4PM, Ambridge, PA

September 1-4, 2026, 8:00AM-4:00PM, at the Ambridge Borough Building Complex. This is a PCCD approved class that meets the Act 67 school security personnel training requirement. You must attend each day complete the class.

Sections of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949 were amended in 2019 to require that all school police officers, school resource officers, and school security guards successfully complete an Basic School Safety and Security Officer Training approved by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.  School security personnel, both armed and unarmed, intending to work in a school setting are required to receive this instruction prior to employment.
